STORY
Most people who play BBW visual novels are familiar with both Chaixas Games' and M24Metro's work. But what if the main characters from their games would actually meet some day? That's exactly what happens in this Christmas adventure, that’s more like a family fantasy.
We have protagonist Jason from Chaixas’s games, while Malcolm comes straight out out of Joy's universe by M24Metro. Both boys wouldn't be a shred of interesting without their female counterparts to match, so the game brings in Joy on Jason’s side, while Rachel goes along with Malcolm in this one.
What happens? Well, sex happens. Multiple times, multiple places for each pair. And at the end, like the title suggests, they swap. There are brief story sections in between the acts and they are well appreciated, even though the story is barebones at best.
PRESENTATION
Xmas Family Swap follows Chaixas's rendering style, which M24Metro tends to emulate a lot. It’s no wonder this collaboration works without any issues, some people even claiming they’re both the same developer.
We recognize both couples from their earlier games, so there are no big surprises in quality here. M24’s characters look a little less outspoken than Chaixas’s do, but it’s the same style overall.
There are intimacy scenes on both sides, with an ending scene that features the entire family. The way Chaixas presents the story is more like a promotional piece for either artist, signifying at least a connection between the two.
GAMEPLAY
It’s an on-rails VN, but you get to pick viewing from either protagonist’s viewpoint - Jason or Malcom. And yes, it does influence what scenes you will see. So in an absolutely alien choice for Chaixas, a second playthrough is needed to see all the content. Luckily for fappers, this is a short game
OVERALL
By now, you’ve probably realized Christmas isn’t so important ingame, and the whole thing was probably meant as a Christmas gift. There are references, but mostly this is a cross-creator family fucking.
If you enjoy either Joy or Rachel from their respective universes, you should pick this game up from Chaixas's Parteon. It’s nothing major, but sharing worlds is an interesting idea for these two chubby chasers.
