Becoming a band seems like a really good time, if your bandmates are any fun. Luckily, Mr. Jet did a great job bringing the characters of your band together. Now it's up to you to write the story. Who will you cross on your path to fame and stardom? What musicians will your cross? Play the game to your tune!

STORY
Who doesn't want to start a band? This game sees a generic Main Character turn into a rock star thanks to his musical friends. You play your way through bars, parties, beach festivals and eventually your own favourite musicians. Many temptations await and not everyone in the band is on the same page about the trajectory that needs to be taken. Creating harmony in the band is what this game is about.

If only it was that easy. External factors, with family members running business that don't like to see the band doing well, become a problem. It's up to you how you deal with them. Will you lose your family? Will you lose your friends? Or will you try to keep it all together? It's not the deepest of stories, but it's well-written and enjoyable in a pop-culture kind of way.

PRESENTATION
Renders look good, definitely serviceable for the story. In my opinion the sex scenes seemed a bit bland, but then again MC isn't that much of a lewd figure - so it fit within the story. The characters look fine and it's great to see Jacob being there as your fellow bandmember. The band feels like they grow together with each step and while family matters happen in your life, the band helps you hold it together when you can't. This is about the relationships, not about the music.

GAMEPLAY
Playing nice with everyone will get you nowhere as the women will learn of each others influence and it will affect how your game plays out. Ironically, your sister is one of the hottest characters in game (which the game hints towards), but the game cheekily steers away from industry tropes to keep your desires within the family. Would have sacrificed one or two characters in the game for extra minutes with the characters we've come to love, but it helps in building a world for the main character - where Naked Park rules the arena. Would have loved to have had this get more out of hand with the band. But things get out of hand with the family.

OVERALL
Love how the game tries knotting up what ends there are by hinting at a future with the characters. There are clear signs the dev wanted this story to round out and that's commendable for your first game. Loose ends remain, but for the most part this band played the tune it was meant to play.
